Some background
Do you know how someone arriving to a fancy party is sometimes announced? You walk in and someone is paid to stand there and call loudly, “Mrs. So and So of So and so County!” They’d share their name and then you would walk in and join the festivities. This designation mattered because your presence would be given context by where you came from. Where this blog came from matters, too.
In 1955, Hinds Feet on High Places was written by Hannah Hurnard. It’s a lovely little allegorical story about Much-Afraid, a young woman plagued by fears of all kinds. She works for the Shepherd in her little valley, and one day, he tells it’s time to go on a journey. By the end of her journey, Much-Afraid has been transformed into Grace and Glory. She is a different person, because her focus is on the Good Shepherd, not anyone or anything else. I want to be just like her.

Who runs Of Grace and Glory
My name is Makenzie, and the most important thing about me is that I am a Christian: a follower of Jesus Christ doing the best I can in this world. I am the wife of a very supportive husband, I am a mom of 2, and my hobbies include reading, drinking lots of coffee, and attempting to craft things while I enjoy a good show or movie.
Thanks for reading and coming along for the ride. God bless you.
